If you use our Privacy Configurator to exercise your right to opt-out of a specific activity (e.g. preferences, statistics or marketing), that opt-out will apply to the sale or sharing of your Personal Information we may carry out for that specific purpose through cookies. However, if you are logged into your User Account, that opt-out will also apply to the sale or sharing of your Personal Information for that same purpose through any other means not involving cookies. Accordingly, if you have a User Account with us, and wish to exercise your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, please submit the corresponding opt-out selections through our Privacy Configurator while logged in.
If you opt-out marketing data transfers and cookies, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized based on your online activity. You can also use our Privacy Configurator to object or opt-out of other categories of data transfers and cookies. Please note that if you disable your cookies or upgrade your browser after opting out, you will need to opt-out of cookies again. If you use multiple browsers or devices you will need to execute this opt-out of cookies on each browser or device. However, once you opt-out of a specific category of data transfers while logged in, your preferences will be stored in our system and your personal information will not be shared or sold regardless of the browser or device you use to visit our Site. If after opting out of a specific category of cookies or data transfer, you later wish to opt in, you can do so using this same Privacy Configurator.
Additionally, if you wish to opt out cookies through different means, If your browser supports it, you can also turn on the Global Privacy Control (GPC ) to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information. You can also generally opt-out of receiving targeted ads from third party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) by visiting http://optout.networkadvertising.org/. You may opt-out of receiving targeted advertisements from other companies that perform interest-based advertising services, including some that we may work with, via the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) site at http://optout.aboutads.info/. When using the ad industry opt out tools described above, note that: (a) if you opt-out we may still collect some data about your online activity for operational purposes (such as fraud prevention), but it will not be used by us for the purpose of targeting ads to you; (b) if you use multiple browsers or devices you may need to execute this opt out on each browser or device; and (c) other ad companies’ opt-outs may function differently than our opt-out, and we have no control over the practices of any third-parties. If you use any of the third-party opt-out tools listed above, we do not make any representations or warranties about such opt-out services. Such services are independent from us, and we have no control over, or responsibility for their performance.
Lastly, in case you need assistance exercising these rights, or you cannot access your User Account, you can always issue a direct request to exercise your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information through activities other than cookies by submitting a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request to [email protected] or by raising a Privacy Query ticket with our Customer Support. Please use the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” and provide sufficient information about yourself so we can confirm your verifiable request. We may request additional information as necessary to confirm your request.
Exercising Other Privacy Rights
If you wish to exercise any other privacy rights available to you under the applicable regulations and/or our Privacy Policy such as the right to access, delete, or correct your data, or to opt-out, please send us a request to [email protected] or submit a Privacy Query ticket with our Customer Support.
Your Rights And Your Applicable Regulation
Please note that these rights apply only to the extent outlined by the applicable regulations. Currently, under state regulations, some of these privacy rights apply only, for example, to California, Nebraska and Texas consumers. As part of our high standard privacy efforts, we may choose to extend these rights to you even if we are not required to under applicable law, without this implying a general and permanent concession of these rights to non-applicable subjects. Accordingly, the exercise of certain privacy rights may be withheld at our sole discretion if such rights are not recognized under your applicable law.
A verifiable customer request may be required to exercise some of your privacy rights. Only you or a person that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information.
